Steven Judge is a Partner, Solicitor and Head of the Civil Litigation Department. Steven is a highly experienced and diverse litigator who can deal with a full range of matters from high value corporate cases to advising individuals. He specialises in commercial and general litigation, Chancery and Trust law, construction and civil engineering, landlord and tenant cases and neighbour and boundary disputes.
Steven has a number of notable cases including advising one of the largest charities in the UK in a case that was widely reported in the media. The dispute involved the charity vacating two premises in Hertfordshire and service of disrepair claims on the charity by the Council totalling over half-a-million pounds. Through some extremely tactical and hard fought litigation the case settled with the charity paying just over £32,000.
Steven has also represented one of the UK’s leading Internet gambling companies. Most notably, he headed the litigation in a case which began with an exceptionally damaging television broadcast on ITV, aimed at the company in question. Steven successfully negotiated terms with the company that aired the program and the organisation that had made allegations against the company.

Having used this excellent firm of Solicitors recently when buying my new home and was surprised how reassuringly helpful the office staff and Roy Bridge was I decided to turn to them again when I faced a difficult situation.
From the first phone I made to Stephen Judge he dealt with me with precision, kindness and professionalism, although our paths had not crossed previously he seems to know when I need perfunctory answers and when I needed a fuller explanation, I found this vital for me in the situation I was in. I was seen in the office recently for an appointment with Stephen and was greeted at the door by a lovely smiling youn lady, during our meeting Stephen showed me kindness and understanding, often repeating his answers for me with patience giving me time to digest the answers. I found it very important that I felt comfortable and looked after as legal matters can be quite intimidating, I sincerely thank Stephen and his colleagues for such courtesy.
