An excellent professional and personal service
Richard Bannister provided me with a truly first class service dealing with the financial matters surrounding my divorce. The thing that really struck me though was his thoughtful and human ethics which not only saw my case over the line with an outcome that I’m very satisfied with but constantly reassured me that things were going well and that the end of my struggle was soon to be over which indeed it now is. I strongly recommend Richard and if the need arises again for a solicitor I will certainly be seeking his services again without hesitation. Thank you Richard.

Fantastic guy
Richard was recommended to me by a friend, nearly 3 years ago when I was prevented access to my children by my ex partner. I didn’t know what to expect or how it was going to work but he put me at ease straightaway. He visited me at home, and we went through all the events leading up to that point. He explained what would happen next.
He has always been honest with me and fair with his fees. You’re paying for someone’s expertise and knowledge, and Richard certainly knew his stuff.
It’s been a long process, but I now have access to my children. Richard always showed me empathy and understanding throughout the process, and always took the time to reassure me and always gave me the best advice.
I highly recommend Richard for family court proceedings. He was fantastic and I’m pleased that I also consider him a friend, and thanks to his hard work and support, I have had the best outcome.

Incredible
Richard is an incredibly personable and considerate professional.
Despite dealing with incredibly stressful time lags with proceedings, he’s been completely thorough in everything needed, responsive to communication from court or myself, and always gone above and beyond to put my mind at rest.

My new friend
Richard was tenacious and his penchant for dotting the i's and crossing the t's was second to none.
He knew what he wanted to achieve and he executed beautifully. It did not go as it was initially expected as the Respondent did everything to delay things and halt procedure.
Richard gave me hope and encouragement when things were not going as well as we thought it should, and told me not to give up. All sorts of obstacles were thrown at me and I was on the verge of giving up. I persevered with Richards help and the outcome was all that I wanted. Everything that I had asked for was granted.

Grandparents rights
My experience with solicitor Richard Bannister was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Richard went above and beyond to help myself and help bring a family back together. Highly Recommend for Family Law Case
I had an extremely difficult case with a very uncooperative opponent, during more than 16 months of legal battle Richard at Whiterose Blackmans Solicitors was very professional and supportive. More importantly Richard was very approachable and whenever I needed any advice he was there to help. He was more like a friend to me. Even when I was outside the country, he looked after my case and updated me regularly.
Richard is very knowledgeable and understanding. He explained everything, told me what I needed to do very well, and kept me on schedule with all the deadlines for court submission. Thank you very much Richard for all your help.

Excellent in a Family Law Case
Found Richard at Whiterose Blackmans Solicitors after my fiancee did a search of solicitors near where I work in Leeds. After reading the excellent reviews, we met him to discuss our case. He immediately put us at ease with his professional and kind manner. We ended up winning our case and the time and effort Richard put in was phenomenal. He was always helpful and mindful of the costs and tried to keep them to an absolute minimum for us.
