Ashtons helped me through the complex and at times bewildering process of resolving my late mother's estate. This has been a one-off experience for me, so I have little in the way of a point of comparison. The overall cost was more or less in line with what I was told at the outset, although in terms of time it took considerably longer. Jennie Pratt, who had dealt with my father's estate on behalf of my mother, felt like a family friend. Various other members of the team, namely Zinzi Tegala and Matthew Farrant, demonstrated an excellent grasp of their respective briefs. Karen Loftus was also clear, friendly and quick to respond. Most of all, I will remember (and be grateful for) the kindness and humanity that Amanda Smitherman brought into the mix.
