I’m experienced in providing assistance to Children’s Panel accredited solicitors who are representing Parents and Guardians within Child Care cases. These cases have involved issues such as Non Accidental Injury, Failure to Thrive, Neglect, substance/alcohol misuse, domestic violence, secure accommodation and clients who require assistance from the Official Solicitor. Trained as a legal secretary in 1999 and obtained Associate membership with CILEx whilst working full time. I have experience in Conveyancing and Asylum & Immigration; in the last twelve years I have progressed on to paralegal work within Family, and more recently, Child Care law specifically. I believe that everyone deserves a voice, and I like to think that that is what I assist Parents who are going through care proceedings achieve, regardless of the difficulties they are facing in their lives. I have great empathy for Parents who are going through care proceedings and help them to articulate themselves to professionals throughout the process. In my spare time I enjoy horse-riding and Yoga.
