Not what you need at this stressful time!
Stephens Wilmot dealt with our house sale at the end of 2022. We continuously had to chase them to respond, not only to us but to other solicitors. They would sit on important documents for over a week before acknowledging them, let alone processing them. When we tried to contact them they would regularly not answer the phone, our estate agents also had this problem. When asked to settle a bridging loan as part of the sale they said they didn't know how to do this which we then had to explain to them, they eventually agreed to do it.
Whenever we called we would speak to our solicitors assistant, even when we asked to speak to her personally.
Overall our experience was not something I would wish on anyone buying or selling a property and I would never employ them again.

great service recieved
It has been great working with Lindsey & Dena, with all the problems I have had with Meyers estate agents & issues with the sale\Purchase, they have been there throughout, what can I say apart from thankyou very much, i appreciate all that has been done and would highly recommend them

Karen Gaywood is Amazing!
From start to finish Stephens Wilmot (and particularly the fantastic Karen Gaywood) were totally amazing. Selling our current and the purchase of our new home could have been tricky at times, but Karen and Dena worked tirelessly with our best interests at heart and with professionalism the process was made so perfect when it could have been stressful. Immediate answering of phone calls eased our minds and emails were responded to extremely quickly. We really couldn’t have asked for anything better, service was outstanding and the cost was excellent value for money compared with other solicitors. Karen was a breath of fresh air. Why choose anyone else?

Karen and team were exceptionally personable and reliable.
Karen and Dena looked after our sale extremely well. We felt in touch and experienced nothing but a swift and informative transaction. Our home had restrictive covenants but went through with ease. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would use them again personally.
