Rachel qualified into the Family Department at Myerson after completing her training contract with the firm. Rachel has been developing a broad practice in all areas of family law including divorce and high net-worth financial settlements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and disputes regarding children including applications for child arrangement orders, prohibited steps orders and specific issue orders. Having trained in corporate law and contentious trusts as well as family, Rachel has a particular interest in complex financial settlements and has assisted in many high-value cases, including those with complex business assets or with elements of non-disclosure. Rachel graduated from the University of Manchester with a First Class (Hons) Degree in Law with Dean’s award, before going on to complete the Legal Practice Course with a combined Masters degree at the University of Law, finishing with Distinction. Rachel is a member of Resolution and is committed to resolving matters amicably where possible. Rachel is also an active member of Manchester’s Young Resolution Committee, and volunteers as a Mentor for law students at the University of Law who are aspiring to become solicitors.

Family court is one of the hardest experiences you have to face, its not easy process and takes time. However i have been lucky to have Rachel every step of the way.
