A refreshing change

I’d like to personally thank two individuals in Thomas Cummings and Martha Craven.

Thomas took a call from me outside of working hours to help me with a query that was troubling me. He listened, explained clearly and delivered on his promise to put me in contact with his colleague Martha

Martha took time out of her day to ring me, confirmed her understanding of the situation and gave me invaluable advice and direction to resolve this query.

I received a couple of instructional emails from Martha and was very impressed with her honesty, clarity and delivering on promises.

Thankyou both so very much.

Professional - My Late Son's Flat

5

Having lost my beautiful son Ryan to cancer in 2019, we as executors had to deal with his flat in Cardiff. This wasn't straightforward as the Freeholder was extremely difficult to contact and we wanted to obtain a lease extension to ensure the best price for the flat as Ryan had left this to his brother Jack. Thomas outlined his costs for taking on the work but more than this he was extremely understanding about how painful this whole process was for myself and my family. I think especially in matters of law trust is so important and I trusted Thomas, he communicated with regular updates and advice. We in the end had to go to court to obtain the lease extension under Section 42 and we achieved the outcome we wanted. Thomas finally was able to liaise with the Freeholder and we are now moving forward with the sale of the flat. I would highly recommend Thomas as he is a very competent solicitor and if he doesn't know the answer to something regarding another area of law, he will find out and ensure we are presented with all the facts to make an informed decision. I would not hesitate to use Thomas and Samuel Phillips again. Carlene
