Highly recommend Sharon

I was recommended to Tollers after my mum suddenly passed away last year, a big shock to us. From the start they suggested a lovely estate agent, whom we eventually used. Tollers kept us up-to-date every step of the way advising and sending correspondence, which meant that the pressure was totally lifted from me. My solicitor was Sharon Brown and I cannot recommend her and her team highly enough. The house was sold and the estate went through.

Would happily recommend

I recently accompanied my elderly mother on two occasions to Tollers Solicitors Kempston office. This was during the pandemic and we both felt safe and comfortable in the way our appointments where organised and by the precautions they had in place. I was impressed by the experience of our meetings which were professional, yet friendly and supportive and in no way rushed. I would happily recommend the Kempston branch.

Very kind and understanding

Dealing with Tollers was like talking to a friend and knowing that they genuinely wanted to help at what was (and is) a difficult time for our family. The individuals I dealt with were so kind, understanding and professional and completed all that we needed to set our minds at rest, very speedily. They explained everything very clearly. We are very grateful to Tollers for coming to the house and sorting out our concerns and taking away a great deal of stress and worry about legal matters that have preyed on our minds for a long time.

A great experience

After the deaths last year of both my parents (Tollers did the conveyancing on their property) my husband and myself decided to make Wills. We again enlisted your services and were fortunate enough to be dealt with by Sharon Brown. The whole experience was easy, friendly, understanding and aggravation free! I wouldnt hesitate to use Tollers for any legal work and I have found the staff to be a revelation. They have been wonderful and very kind and compassionate at a truly difficult time. Sharon answered difficult questions and explained things with patience from start to finish. A lovely young lady! Thank you Tollers.

Terrible service and rather rude - My elderly 80 year old mother had an appointment one rainy morning last week (11:30am on the 14th November) to update her will.

She arrived early by public transport and spent some time looking round local shops and having a coffee before continuing for her appointment.

However, on arrival at 11:20am she was spoken to rather rudely and told, by a solicitor we assume, that she couldn't wait in the reception area because she might overhear her conversation with her client.

She was asked instead to go for a walk (in the rain) and come back at her appointed time.

We don't know why this person couldn't simply close their office door so that clients could also wait in the provided reception area but my mother didn't wait to find out.

Apparently the receptionist is rather nice, polite and did offer an apology for her rude and unreasonable colleague.

About this branch

Description

Founded in 1877, Tollers has grown to become a leading Regional Law Firm, with 6 offices and a geographic footprint throughout the South and East Midlands. With our long history comes a degree of prestige, wisdom and impressive depth of experience. However, our approach is a very modern one – we are here to help you keep pace with, or one step ahead of, the legal complexities of modern life and business, and to lead our peers by example when it comes to providing high-quality legal services. and you will discover that we focus on you and how we can help you deal with the legal challenges you face, no matter how complex. Like any fruitful relationship, that means listening closely to what you have to say, truly understanding your circumstances both from a personal and business perspective and taking the time to explain points of law clearly and simply without waffle, jargon or legalese. Many law firms call this “client focus”. At Tollers we call it “the very least you should expect”. Of course, what we do for you is important, but so is how we do it. So we continually invest in our people, processes and technology to ensure the service you receive is both first-class and cost-effective. It is about acting professionally, adapting the way we do things to best serve your needs, and building a relationship based on trust, mutual respect, professionalism and the desire to help you succeed. Because after all is said and done, we measure our success by your success.
