I read online reviews and positive comments regarding them and reached out to them and a number of other Solicitors in advance to check pricing and related details. From the outset Clifford Johnston & Co were quick to respond, clear and concise communication and gave me the confidence to want to trust them in dealing with my affairs. Their pricing was competitive and in line with my expectations. Once the process started Chris Furbey was "on it", providing all the required documentation, clear in terms of what to expect and when, and also prepared to chase and add pressure when required. By comparison the selling agents, Buyers Solicitor were poor, slow and challenging. Chris's approach to dealing with these matters efficiently and with the required level of detail overcame these obstacles and agent related delays and gave the process the necessary traction. The majority of the communication and interaction were done online with the occasional call. This made the process easy to fit around a busy life and meant that even out of hours progress was being made and the sales process was advancing. Completing many pages of sales related documents online simplified the process and enabled faster progress. On completion the sale funds excluding all expenses were transferred very promptly, this included settling the estate agent commission which was one less responsibility and again meant the entire process was seamless, a really simple but nice touch. When I come to sell/buy another property I will definitely use Chris and Clifford Johnston & Co again without hesitation and would be happy to recommend them.
