Minus 5 *

Having used Goodswens/Cole’s for a number of years for various legal issues, both private and commercial, our experiences are frankly beyond belief.
This company appears to be operating in the 1970’s.
If you want good legal services I suggest you look elsewhere.

Stephen, please could you send further details of your complaint to me lucy.groves@coles-law.co.uk and I will investigate further. Many thanks

Excellent Solicitors

5

We received an excellent and friendly service from Lindsey - she was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and approachable throughout the purchasing process. Neither myself, or my partner have bought a house before, Lindsey explained each step of the process to us and helped us exchange contracts with the builders quickly and easily. The process has been stress-free and we couldn’t recommend her enough - she has been extremely professional throughout, setting realistic targets and keeping in regular contact.

House Purchase

Do not return telephone calls.Do not reply to Emails. Do not honour commitments. The whole conveyancing process riddled with errors. Finally failed to deal with Land Registry and then lost the most important part of the Mortgage Agreement. A truly terrible service.

Large Property Sale

5

A big thank-you to Gilly French and Andrew Haigh for their professional support and personal service during our recent home sale. A number of detailed queries cropped up during the process and they were handled patiently and seamlessly. Gilly and Andrew were always easy to contact directly and very prompt in their responses and actions. Overall a speedy and smooth process.

Thank you for your review. You have raised a complaint directly with us and we have responded to that complaint which is now resolved. There are always two sides to every story and what your feedback doesn't say is that we completed your transaction in normal timescales.

One of the most distressing experiences of my life!!

1

Lost my file, including personal identifiable data. Did nothing on sale for 3 weeks, denied all knowledge even though they'd had information from myself and an estate agent.
Told me an Exchange Date, then didn't tell me it hadn't happened - found out from the estate agent when the buyers couldn't access keys! Rarely returned phone calls. Kept sending correspondence to the probate property address, despite being informed 3 times of correct address. Still waiting for them to bank the sale proceeds 4 days after the sale took place, then it will be a cheque that takes another 4 days to clear. All of this related to a probate case for the death of my mother which was already one of the hardest times of my life. Would never recommend this company.

Sale of 23 Trinity Park, Ripon

5

Everybody at Coles has dealt with me in a friendly and professional manner throughout the protracted sale of my late mother's house - from Joe Taylor in the early stages through to Samantha in the last few weeks. I felt I received good personal attention from Joanne Oldfield when it was required. To receive a cheque for the sale proceeds on the day of Completion was a very pleasant feeling.

Thankyou!
