Rip off prices

1 letter has cost £721.
Original solicitor left and they didn't get in touch.I ended up ringing them to find out what was going on
and they have the audacity to charge you for the privilege of calling to ask.
The original solicitors secretary left and the one who replaced her left too.
I was told £550 would cover the cost originally and ended up with a bill for £721
When I called to question it this call was again added on the bill.
When I sent an e mail explaining the situation they didn't reply with any explanation but instead just sent the bill.
Anyone thinking of using this company should go elsewhere.

Making a Will - Understanding & Friendly.

I found the service with Alsters Kelley very friendly. Our solicitor helped with the process of making a Will for my mother. Every thing was explained as things happened and Alsters helped us communication issue by finding someone that speaks my mother's native language. This was extremely help and we were very grateful. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, because it was easy to discuss things plainly and simply. The service felt personalised.

Finally!!! Efficiency from a solicitors in Coventry!

I have been butting my head against a brick wall, trying to get a solicitors practice in Coventry to certify my documents. After being turned away by 4 city centre solicitors, Alsters were able to not only certify my documents (which I required urgently) but also do so with no fuss and almost immediately. A big, heartfelt thank you for being so quick and efficient.

I just wanted to take the time to give you some positive feedback about one of your team. Mahika is one of the most helpful and lovely people I have ever dealt with. This is my third transaction with you over the past 12 months and she has consistently gone above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. She is not even working on this transaction, but still took the time to pick up the phone up and help me this afternoon, as her colleague who is dealing with it is on annual leave. Mahika is an absolute credit to Alsters Kelley.

Having been private landlords for over ten years we have never encountered so many issues with tenants and navigating rapid changes in legalisation until the pandemic. Due to these rapid changes during the last two years we decided to place our properties with local professional estate agents to manage this process. However, even though having professional estate agents on board, it did not prevent us from experiencing months of rent arrears and difficult tenants who were in receipt of benefits due to changing work circumstances, but whom refused to pay their rent or move out. Even when the required notice periods were served. We have ended up significantly financially impacted and unable to access our own property, and saddled with mortgages payments without income to cover these costs. At a loss to the best way to resolve this issue whilst adhering to legalisation and court delays, we were recommended Ben Chase and his team at alsterskelly solicitors who have a wealth of expertise and legal experience in this field. Ben Chase and his colleague Rukkiya Khan were professional, approachable, empathetic and quick to respond to our needs. Guiding us through our options, the processes involved and transparently explaining the cost of their services. They not only worked closely with us but also our existing local estate agents to collaborate and collect information to ensure the best outcome. We would not hesitate to recommend Ben Chase and his colleague Rukkiya Khan to any estate agent or landlords encountering any difficulties or disputes with tenants.

Rukkiya established substantial grounds for Breach of Contract, resulting in a detailed letter to the company. Anticipating no response, she already had a plan for a follow up. There was an awareness of timing and the need to keep the pressure on, having the desired result in a pleasingly short timescale. A full refund of all outstanding monies was received within 2 months of my original contact with Alsters Kelley. Well done!

Ben has a broad legal knowledge and is able to share this and give advice in personal client-centred manner. Ben stands out from the crowd in litigation as and when dealing with his clients. He is able to discuss and advise on serious/stressful matters in a calm, friendly and candid way. Ben’s realistic approach to costs and likely outcomes also allow him to ensure his clients are well advised even before they have formally instructed him and the firm.

I would not hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone in need of a quality legal representation
I found each member of the team dealt with from administration , para legal to head of the legal department very professional in the way they conducted their business . Communication was excellent I was briefed in detail at each stage of the process . Not being familiar with the legal process they ensured I was kept a breast and guided through the entire process in a manner I was able to understand . The billing process was clear and accurate. The commitment and work ethic, the knowledge of the subject and process was clear to see at all levels. Mine was a most complex case and I would recommend this team to anyone in need of a legal firm . A special mention for Jas Thiara
Her knowledge of the law , process and the West Midlands legal scene was clear to see. Strategy Every call Jas made proved to be the correct one, her decisions of which path to take and which part of the case to concentrate on was the correct call, every time,

I was introduced to Alsters Kelley whilst in Police Custody in a most bizarre and unpleasant set of circumstances, following a serious but false criminal allegation.

The solicitor was Jas Thiara.
Jas was extremely good, professional and efficient.

The best bit of advice she gave me was to play back everything I had told her, not to miss out anything. I'm very glad that I did, because everything I told the police it turned out later they were already aware of, and it totally vindicated my position.
Jas was quite assertive when she needed to be, which did cut down the interview time on more than one occasion.

Her follow-up synopsis of the situation at that early stage gave me some much needed confidence that there was no case against me, at times like this that is a life-saver. She gave me some other very valuable insights that were an enormous help at a desperately grim time - bear in mind I have never broken a law in my life, so a night in a police cell and the process that followed was a massively shocking time.

At a time of crisis Jas was the sort of person I knew I needed to professionally represent me, and that's what this is about. Now that I have come out of the ordeal rightfully cleared, I'm more than happy to give my full endorsement to Alsters Kelley for their thorough professionalism. Five stars from me.
