Excellent in conveyancing and Probate

Had to deal with two different departments regarding the Probate and Sale of my parents house in Exmouth

Nicholas Strong dealt with the Probate side of things and was extremely efficient and diligent as Probate was granted within 4 months. We then went on to the sale and conveyancing of the property which was dealt with by Alex Whitmore. He responded to emails very quickly and the transaction was effortless. From acceptance of the offer on the property to completion was about 2.5 months and we had a Christmas break in that time. Would highly recommend Everys and will definitely use them again in the future

Efficient, informative, proactive and reactive

We have worked with Charlotte Pickford at Everys on two property purchases and she has been excellent to work with in both cases. Unlike conveyancing solicitors I've dealt with in the past, she's approachable, proactive in suggesting options, answers emails promptly and looks at the detail (instead of relying on you to pick it out and raise issues which I've experienced elsewhere). Would highly recommend.

In safe hands from start to finish!

The communication, guidance, timeliness and information provided by Everys was second to none. During what has been a very stressful time, Charlotte and the team have been exceptional. All documents and information were provided quickly, when I have needed any further guidance the response has been swift and it is clear the teams knowledge and experience is both excellent and objective (e.g. explanation of Freehold/Leasehold, surveys etc) and importantly, I have felt fully informed when making big financial decisions. The team were always on top of what stage my sale and purchase was at (negating the need for me to repeat the situation to various staff members) and were always on top of chasing other agents/solicitors for information to ensure the process ran as smoothly as possible. It is a shame not all firms operate in this way. Would highly recommend!!

A decade of self-assessment tax returns completed successfully.

We have benefitted from the professional expertise and empathy of Alison Jessop for many years. She has completed and submitted my husband and my tax returns for many years and has thereby reduced the stress levels of us both considerably. She has always responded quickly to any task she undertakes and has kept us informed as appropriate. As our tax affairs have now simplified, we are going to try to submit our own tax returns, but will have no hesitation in asking her to do work on our behalf in the future. We also used Margaret Broom (solicitor) in the past for probate purposes, conveyancing and LPAs and found her work to be exemplary and supportive at a stressful time in our lives. We are sorry to see that she no longer appears in your list of solicitors. The receptionists have always been helpful at the Exmouth branch of Everys.

We had a very stressful process of getting to exchange due to a long and difficult chain. Both Charlotte and Ella-Marie have been absolutely amazing in ensuring we are kept up to date, being available to answer emails and calls straight away, and being understanding of our needs and sympathetic of the factors that slowed the process down (outside of ours or Everys control!).

Charlotte moved our purchase along swiftly from the get go and we were really impressed with how knowledgeable Charlotte is; she made sure we were quickly advised on any queries we had.
