Fitzgrahams Limited

I needed an (non-court related) affidavit sworn and had phoned a whole bunch of solicitors to no avail. Apparently, nobody seems to be doing that anymore. Then I hit lucky and a solicitor in town suggested I tried Fitzgrahams Solicitors.

The receptionist was really friendly and helpful and, even though other solicitors 'just didn't do it' she asked. The solicitor was good enough to agree to witness the oath (the very same afternoon, no less).

When I got there, I didn't have to wait long. Both the receptionist and solicitor were, again, friendly, helpful and professional. It was a straightforward thing to swear my affidavit and I was so happy to find a solicitor who was willing to do that when so many others weren't.

Also, I was quoted a charge upfront that was the exact amount charged. I noticed that the website listed charges, which I hadn't seen on other websites. The transparency of what you might expect is refreshing - often you only get an idea of how much you will have to pay when you get the bill. I appreciated that clarity, and will certainly use Fitzgrahams again if I have need of a solicitor, and would recommend to others.
