Purchase of Flat 4 Mulberry Mead, Whitchurch

This was the simplest of flat purchases, with no chain and a cash buyer, however it still took 5 months to complete.
The lack of communication and the inability to answer any phone call I made was incredibly frustrating.

Previously we have used a firm in Durham for conveyancing, which we were very pleased with but we deliberately used a local solicitor this time so that we could support the local economy.
We now realise this was a mistake.
I would not use BSandI in the future.

Initial enquiry long before long before we were eventually persuaded to go ahead by our financial planner!
We initially were seen by Gabrielle Dell who explained exactly how the LPA worked and also how the company preparing the documents could sometimes be very slow and were!
BS&I kept us informed of progress and the final a/c was less than we originally expected.

Barker Son and Isherwood acted for us in the sale of one house and purchase of another, despite the significant complexity of the processes due to multiple pieces of land and several stakeholders the process was completed quickly, efficiently and for a reasonable price.

Jenny was lovely and super helpful along with the reception staff. They were absolutely amazing until the very end, I’m still waiting for a response for attendance notes. Also I still had a few questions, but got dropped as soon as it was over for them.
I would highly recommend them for family matters though, it was handled very well, just at the end I got let me down.
