Excellent

From the moment I sold my property, Lexie and her team made everything easy and from my end smoothly, right up to completion. I always got an immediate response from them when I needed it and dealt with everything in a friendly and professional manner. I would definitely recommend and I will be using them again.

My sale and purchase

I used Pinny Talfourd for both my sale and purchase . To say it was complicated is an understatement. However Anica, my conveyancing solicitor and her assistant Lorraine were brilliant. They were extremely professional but also always approachable and understanding. I have no hesitation in recommending them. They made a very awful time bearable with a successful end.

Outstanding From Alex

I got in touch with Alex over a contract dispute with my former employer. I at the time was very worried. I did some research online and I was put in contact with Alex as I read a lot of positive reviews. The reviews I read where not wrong. I went through step by step of what happened. Alex is very calm natured no matter how serious something might be, which is what I needed at the time.

Alex gave me a few options of the route we can take in regards to getting the matter dismissed. Again being very calm and collected in the matter. Alex guided me through lots of options. He is very thorough. He went away and come together with a few ideas in a matter of a few hours. Alex did dictate a letter to me that he had put together himself to send back to my former employer.

A few weeks had passed thinking the matter had finished, by then a response letter had arrived. Alex went out of his way to drop what he was doing to assist me. Again Alex reassured me this was an attempt by them to scare me. So another letter was written and the matter has disappeared.

I cannot thank Alex enough. If I had tried to del with this matter I would still be in a mess. So thank you Alex and I hope I do not have to use you again but if I do I will only be calling you.

Lasting power of attorney

An unusual set of circumstances - multi jurisdictional assistance

We found ourselves in an unexpected position of having to deal with our mother's affairs after she moved from her home into an assisted living complex. She has lived in the USA for over 35 years but required a Power of Attorney for us to be able to communicate with her UK bank on her behalf ie change of address, and managing the account for her in the future. It had come as a surprise to us that the Power of Attorney we had in the United States was not suitable for anything which would need to be changed or managed on our mother's behalf here in the UK.

We approached Pinney Talfourd and we were recommended to make contact with Krishna Soni. Krishna was very thorough and professional. She took the time to initially consult with our mother via a Zoom call to the States and also liaised with her US lawyer to enable the preparation of a UK Power of Attorney. She kept us informed throughout and handled the registration at the Court of Protection for our mother.

We can recommend Krishna's for her expertise, calmness and the level of client service which she gave to our mother. We all felt in very safe hands. It was a complex matter to deal with in the sense of distances involved and communication being in a 'virtual' manner.

Routine or complex, we are confident of Krishna's ability to help anyone with private client and Court of Protection matters and can highly recommend her.

Linda Chew and Team are Fab!

Linda and her team were absolutely amazing in dealing with my sale and purchase transactions. I was very nervous to go into this process as we are selling and buying a larger property but Linda was extremely friendly, re-assuring and knowledgeable from the outset. Linda's responses are very prompt which is impressive given her busy schedule and she kept me well informed throughout the whole process, from sharing relevant reports pertaining to the searches to replies to enquiries received/sent. What really struck me also was Linda's vast knowledge of property law and her experience of dealing in these types of transactions, including potentials risks/issues that may arise in the future. Her guidance has ensured that there were no surprises and that the whole process went very smoothly, despite several hold ups caused by the buyer's solicitors. I would highly recommend Linda to anyone looking to buy an/or sell as she has an unparalleled knowledge and experience that re-assures her clients and you will feel you're in very capable hands. Thank you Linda and team for all you have done and for making mine and my husband's dream of owning a lovely house a reality.

Pinney Talfourd have written my Will and LPA and I have also used them for residential conveyancing on several occasions. I have found them to be extremely friendly and helpful. Their lawyers are very efficient and have excellent attention to detail. Our property work was not at all straightforward. I would highly recommend them.
