Excellent service
I brought my case about the windows in my house being old, broken and causing mould. I didn’t know what to expect but Christina handled my case really well, explained everything to the me, she was really supportive and made sure I get the help. Christina was amazing all the way to the end, i could not stop thanking her for all the help and what she did. My housing has now got me new windows and thanks to Christina for making it possible for me.

2 years regarding a PCP claim. Changed hands numerous times, now telling me I have to go to court with them. I have no idea what’s going on, threatened to charge me for the ‘work’ they have done. Very pressuring lady called Sarah basically telling me I have to go to court or I will be liable even though I have told her I didn’t want to due to anxiety. Sent me a legal letter that I needed to read through in regards to the claim. Like I am supposed to understand Al of the legal jargon.
Awful. Not worth it. It’s making me feel so stressed and uneasy. I will also be contacting the local mp and citizens advice.

Firstly, our representative, Mr. O let's call him, was very evasive; they would never explain any of the legal processes that confused us. They would double-speak us all the time and use more complicated legal terms to explain their procedures.
Secondly, he was EXTREMELY RUDE; if I don't understand something because I haven't had years of legal training and it's YOUR JOB to explain it to me, don't get angry with me or frustrated when I ask you to elaborate!

I got approached by a telephone call over a year ago for Mis-car finance, he was a bit pressurising so I went for it. I’ve had no communication with the McDermott Solicitors as they don’t respond to emails. However, recently I’ve had an email from a solicitor saying McDermott can no longer act on my behalf and it has been passed over to another law firm and I was asked to sign. It seemed genuine as they had all my details. I then got another email saying it has been passed over to yet another law firm Chase Monro (another dodgy company it seems) and I was bombarded with emails every single day asking me to sign. I phoned McDermott and spoke to Sam and was told they were still acting for us. But I then received an email from McDermott (at last they email me) with a letter stating because I’ve instructed another law firm then I have breached my contract and now liable for fees. I’ve tried to cancel but again no response. I have emailed citizens advice. Will go to my MP and then the Ombudsman. How can they prey on vulnerable families. We have a young family, 4 children (two with disabilities) and we really don’t need this worry. I only wish I read the reviews before. I haven’t slept for weeks with worry.
