What is the fastest way to collect reviews?
The fastest way to collect reviews is through our API integration with your current case management software. This allows an email to be sent automatically at the point when you close the case. Using this method is recommended as it allows you to collect reviews without having to lift a finger. An added benefit is that a ‘verified’ button appears next to the review, to show that the client is a genuine one. It is also easier for clients – because you have sent us the data we do not require them to create an account to publish their review.
Where are you based?
Our head office is in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
Is there a contract?
Yes, 1 year.
How long does it take to set up and is there a set-up fee?
There are no set-up costs and you can begin to collect reviews within a matter of minutes. What we find is that most law firms like to contact their existing client base when they join, asking for reviews. We provide this at no additional cost as it is a great way to kick-start your campaign and to fill your profile with as many good reviews as possible.
NB: with one or two of our case management providers, e.g. Proclaim, they charge a £150 fee to set up your API integration. This is a one-off fee and covers the time their team needs to customise your product.
Will my reviews give me a star rating on google?
Yes. Once we achieve 30 reviews for your firm, you will notice your ReviewSolicitors star rating appear alongside your listing on google. This is an extremely powerful tool and helps to improve your click-through rates for both organic and paid traffic to your website.
What is your average collection rate for reviews?
Individual results vary from 8% – 30%. On average we see a response rate of 18%.
Will having reviews reduce my AdWords costs?
In most cases, yes! Having stars next to your AdWords will have a dramatic effect on your CTR (click-through rate) and CPC (cost per click) rates in Google AdWords. According to Google, on average, ads with seller ratings get a 17% higher CTR than the same ads without ratings. You can read more on this here (point number 4).
Where will my reviews show up in Google?
The reviews your clients publish on ReviewSolicitors will appear in:
- Google organic results (SEPRS) – through rich snippets
- Google Shopping stars & reviews
- Google AdWords stars & reviews
Will you use my client data?
How do you spot fake reviews from other law firms?
We have sophisticated technology to spot if a review has been written by one of your competitors. We use IP data as well as several other secret social networking methods to spot fakes. If you think a review on your site is fake, get in touch and we will investigate on your behalf.
Can I customise the email my clients receive asking for a review?
Certainly. You can add your company logo and change the colours and design of the collection email to suit your company’s image. If you need any help customising your email, please don’t hesitate to ask. We have a team of experienced email specialists who can create the perfect collection email.
What level of moderation do you offer?
ReviewSolicitors has been built to treat both solicitors and clients fairly. We have extensive review guidelines that outline what is allowed and what is not allowed on the site, and we encourage you to refer to these.
However, we do appreciate that, no matter what preventative measures we may take to minimise the possibility, some people will attempt to leave malicious reviews. Please know we do not allow scathing, unhelpful reviews that do not contribute in a positive way to the review community. If this happens to you, simply report it to us and we will take action in accordance with our takedown policy.
How long does it take for merchant reviews to appear next to Google AdWords results?
This can take anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks.
Is there a minimum number of reviews you need before you get AdWords stars?
You need a minimum of 30 reviews within a 12-month period with an average score of 3.5 or higher.
How do you stop solicitors from submitting reviews for themselves using the integrated API?
We log IP addresses, use email verification and unique identifiers for clients. If we cannot verify that the review is coming from a legitimate past client, the review will not be published.
Can a reviewer be blacklisted?
Yes. Spam and abuse will not be tolerated. We will contact the user to give a warning or reminder of our policies, and thereafter if an incidence occurs again, the user will be removed.
How do I add a law firm that is not listed?
From the homepage, type the law firm name in the search box. If the law firm already exists in our database, it will automatically come up. If it doesn’t yet feature, please email us at email@example.com.
How do I change my account info?
Three easy steps:
1 – Log in to www.reviewsolicitors.co.uk
