Leadenhall came recommended as a choice from my estate agent. Shelley was extremely quick and efficient. She kept the pace of the sale and purchase of our home going throughout. I found hoowla tricky and the updates a little annoying but overall it is a good tool for keeping you up to speed on your cases. Shelley never failed to get back to me if I had a question she would call me or email back the same day.

I recommend you avoid dealing with Micheal McNally at the Norwich branch, even if recommended by your Estate Agent (who gets £200 for referring them). We're well over three months into our straightforward property sale and are yet to exchange, with no date set to exchange, even though we asked him to ensure it was by the end of November. His delays caused us to lose the rental we were meant to move into and the holding deposit. He lied about sending documents to our Buyer's Solicitor, and failed to chase people or get the documents needed. He refuses to answer the phone and is rude if you pursue him, and has generally made everything much more stressful than it needed to be. There is no complaints procedure on their website, and it's obvious why. From looking at Companies House, it's a family-run business made up of staff who work remotely and are a law unto themselves. I will be seeking legal advice and speaking to the Ombudsman.

Gilmour worked on both the sale of my flat and the purchase of our house. I was really impressed with how quickly he worked and with how communicative he was. Also, he was pretty much very easy to get hold of whenever I had a question and if he missed a call would invariably call back or email. I felt like I was in good hands at all times and when things slowed down due to the other side’s solicitors Gilmour really did his utmost to get things moving and keep us on schedule. Furthermore Gilmour was always polite, friendly and professional. I’d definitely recommend him.

Gina was on the ball from the off. Every milestone of my purchase went smoothly and I was updated throughout. Gina was very efficient and lovely to talk to on the phone. Her assistant Destiny, was great too, who helped me hugely at the start of the process.
