I am not accustomed to leaving any review but I felt obliged to leave this review for Cantelli & Co Solicitors. They went above and beyond that which I expected in selling a property after a bereavement, especially Ella. I cannot praise her and the Company enough. I am happy to use all the words below to describe this firm and I would have no hesitation is recommending them to others and would happily use them again.

My husband and I got the recommendation to contact Cantelli & Co from two friends who had also been first-time buyers when they used his services, and I’m so happy we took their advice. Rod was thorough, affordable and helped make sure we got through the purchase our first home in one piece with all possible paperwork in order. He walked us through every step in the process and took the time to go over any questions we had during all stages of the sale. We’re very happy customers and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cantelli & Co. Solicitors to anyone purchasing a home!

We have been using Cantelli and Co for many years both personally and as our appointed solicitor for our house-building firm. They deal with all of our land purchase deals too. They are very good value for money, Rod is very thorough in all his work and he has saved us thousands by spotting potential issues. We have once been forced to use a larger firm by a lender we were working with and aside from costing us an absolute fortune there were numerous errors and issues along the way. We have recommended him many times and nobody has ever been disappointed with the service received - testament by how many thank you cards he has in his office.
I cannot recommend him more.

I wouldn't touch this firm in its current state, the secretary is dysfunctional and is hellbent on damaging my business and property sale.cantelli is meant to be handling the conveyancing for a £650.000.00 house sale, we have had a cash buyer who has been tearing his hair out to exchange but the secretary refuses to give access to the mighty one, the firm doesn't pass on emails and ignores the buyers solicitor.
They have destroyed months of patient negotiations and I am now in the process of engaging the legal ombudsman and another firm of solicitors (at a vastly inflated price because this firm has tainted the transaction) to sort out the mess created by Catelli and co.
They currently hold my documents and property which they haven't offered to return and are perpetually incommunicado and if my buyers are scared off I will be employing another firm of solicitors to sue for damages.
Rod has handed many transactions for me in the past and has been very good but has really lost the plot now ,they are in breach of duty of care and I would avoid unless you want the hassle that we are having, good luck and caveat emptor.
