Exactly What I Needed
Last year my marriage ended quite unexpectedly (to me) and I could not have got from there to here without Ian. He was clear, calm, supportive, and extremely accommodating of my circumstances (I have autism and ADHD, which present additional challenges). He was also up-front about what I would need to pay him in various scenarios, and worked with me to find the most cost-efficient way to achieve what I needed. I have been a stay-at-home parent with no prospects or income, so separating from my ex-husband and then finding I needed legal representation was absolutely terrifying, but Ian talked me through everything in a way that meant that I was able to make informed decisions and take control of my end of the situation. Consequently I was able to propose, and then reach an agreement with my ex-husband that suits both of us without the need to go to court. Ian was recommended to me by a friend who went through a divorce a couple of years ago, and I would recommend him myself without hesitation.

They took the strain off us.
A neighbour dispute over a wall become very unpleasant and stressful because of the unreasonable demands and approach of a relative of the neighbour. James Overton worked with us simply and pleasantly, taking the strain off us. He handled it neatly, and so we could remediate the boundary without further interference. Costly but effective.

Challenging the results of my sister-in-law's will
Claire, Ella and Rachel supported me and my wife through difficult and trying circumstances. They handled the two 'opponents' whom we were challenging, with confidence and delicacy. The result we achieved was very much due to their expertise.

Great advice and help so far
We've had a very complex issue and whilst still in process, the team have been great. They've been responsive and always had our best interests at heart whilst also giving us both the good and bad news (and what may happen if things go one way or the other). I think the saying, you get what you pay for, is key, as I don't think you get this advice and service from a lot of firms having dealt with many throughout my career and personal life (both small and large). I know how important it is to make sure you are being dealt with in a conscientious and caring manner whilst also being listened to (objectively as well as positively) which is the case here.

Tina and Tracy at Hedges Solicitors assisted with the recent purchase of a flat. Friendly, fully professional and they kept me informed along a lengthy process. Very thorough - Tina picked up an assessment that had not been covered previously by other buyers solicitors. My only negative would be the quote for services was less than I finally paid but the process took longer than originally expected which was out of their control. I would not hesitate to use Hedges solicitors again.

This is my third time using Hedges for conveyancing, I exchanged contracts today. Saima is my solicitor, she’s incredible, on the purchase where I’d have bought it if it was falling down, she did her job properly even though all I wanted was the keys! On a more relaxed purchase, she kept me informed, did a thorough job and it was an absolute pleasure. She understood what mattered to me and she managed to somehow do her job whilst I was snapping and stressing and fussing, I can tell she takes pride in her work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. When I bought this time around, I didn’t even bother with other quotes, I’ve found someone I really trust. Thank you Saima and team!
