Cannot recommend highly enough.

Truly excellent experience with James Bunker of the property team. Very professional in every regard and it was refreshing to find someone willing to problem solve rather than cause.

Vardags acted for the spouse of my family member in a divorce. They fought aggressively for the spouse. Unfortunately, much of their aggression was poorly founded. The barrister who we were ultimately forced to employ to decide competing claims rejected most of Vardags' position and favoured something close to the original offer made by my relative's lawyers.

The barrister cost a lot. And along the way, high expenses were charged by both lawyers to pay for all the pointless legal wrangling. Legal costs took about 10% of the value of my family member's estate. (This was not a huge estate but well over Vardag's recommended lower limit of £1m.) So the main result of the spouse of my family member using Vardags was a smaller estate to get a share of - significantly less money - for both husband and wife. Overall, a bad job.

An extremely capable & exceptionally committed family law team for medium-to-very high wealth individuals led by the financial genius Dr Stephen Bence and highly distinguished Ayesha Vardag.

In my particular circumstances, I found the Vardags Team to be extraordinarily knowledgeable on Family Case Law, and were masterfully able to finalise this matter to a successful & amenable outcome.

Being supportive, reassuring, & attentive throughout the process, I definitively felt that everyone in the Team was investing in my affairs throughout.
In summary, if you seek superior representation & support in any aspect of divorce and family law, then I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Vardags.

Divorce and child proceedings bring out the worse in everyone. Nobody really thinks straight. Unfortunately there are people out there that will take advantage of this. You get fixated on winning at all costs. That’s normal as you are grieving the loss of a relationship. Thinking that if I pay silly money, I will get the best is utter nonsense. If you hired a plumber to fix a tap, one charges £10 and the other £5k would that make the tap work any better!? Vardags do NOT make decisions despite their hubris. The Judge makes decisions. Everything is based on the merits of the case and not who represents you. I was in a Section 37 case against Vardags as a Litigant in Person. On the court dates I hired a Barrister from 1KBW to represent me directly to save costs. Yes, you can hire barristers without solicitors; it’s called 'direct access' at a fraction of the cost. Vardags turned up with the 3 senior people, tight fitting pin stripe suits and suitcases of paperwork. I still Won and also got costs! That’s right, me with no legal experience won against the goliath without even a solicitor. Don’t be fooled by all the bells and whistles. At the end of the trial their client didn’t receive anything as all of went into paying their extortionate bills not to mention my costs. Money doesn’t buy you happiness. Money doesn’t buy you a guaranteed win either. Always get a second opinion from a barrister directly; saves you money and your sanity. And for the love of God don't get embroiled in the ligation loans they peddle. There client , my Sister-in-Law was left penniless and living on benefits because of the £250K+ loans they got her involved in.
