Unresponsive and I felt that they were neglectful

I received poor advice from them which lead to financial loss. Discussions were fruitless so I had to file a negligence claim against them.
I sent them the claim in the post, but it was returned as undeliverable.
I emailed them to enquire about it but there was no response. As I was due to travel I asked if they would accept service via email in this case - numerous emails were ignored.
The partner Stephen Hudson was unresponsive and did not respond to complaints - instead he went on holiday.
I would not recommend them.

Excellent Will Writing Service

We used Gard & Co in June 2023 to write wills for both my wife and myself. Although similar they did contain different elements so were not Mirror Wills.
Although my initial enquiry by phone did receive a rather abrupt response (maybe just a bad day), once we decided to proceed with them my second call and all further dealings we dealt with in a very friendly and efficient manner. Glen Sambells could not have been more helpful with recommended additions that we had not considered, and replied to questions late into the early evening.
The whole process from first call to completion took 2 months, and would have been sooner had we been available to sign at an earlier date.
Overall we are very happy with the service we received, and was the best price in the area.

Knowledgeable and helpful

I have had to use Gard and Co now 3 times for family matters and they have all ways been fair and honest and allowed me to express my concerns and advised me on my best course of action and brought me back onto the straight and narrow when things have clouded my judgement.

Friendly and helpful. Advised of costs through out and regular updates when they received information from the other party. Would reccomned wihout a moments hesitation.

Amy Paterson - conveyancing excellence

AMY PATERSON has been involved in two purchases for my family that have both been far from straight forward. Amy’s professionalism and proactive communication is refreshing in this day and age, providing and implementing solutions quickly and efficiently. Both purchases were in NW England showing that location is no hinderance to the quality of service delivered. I cannot recommend this individual more highly.

My partner and I are very happy with the service provided from Gard&co solicitors from the very moment we made contact with them. The company business was very quick to answer our enquires and help guide us forward to our next steps of becoming first time home owners. Max was our solicitor and has been fantastic with us from start to finish, he communicated with us very well and kept us up to date with any new progression on our case. We Would highly recommend Max, He was very professional in his Job.

Gard&co provided 5* service to myself and my partner, we thank you very much for helping us.
We are loving being first time home owners.

We Would 100% recommend Gard&co for any type of service you may require.

Ruben has also provided a 5* service when completing a will for a terminally ill family member, Ruben made the situation less stressful for the family and really listened to what the my dad wanted in the will and treated us with respect and kindness in such difficult circumstances.
