In the sea of issues, chasing them to book an exam with a medical expert lasted over a year and a half. Report was done without an expert having most of my medical records relevant for the case, my lawyer wasn't bothered with it. I was the one investigating it. My case handler didn't 'understand' Court Proceedings had to be filled on the 3 yr anniversary of the case. Another major drawback when being served offer Part 36, my case handler tried to mislead me on the date when offer was served. My case handler tried to make it like the date is not important. Company has not done anything to work in my best interest from the start till the end.

If I could rate zero I would. DO NOT use this firm if you want trust and as your spending a lot of money for a service, trust should be a given.
I’m currently taking them to Ombusdman. They add unnecessary phone calls and emails to their bill, people put their name on the bill I’ve never been explained who they are or what they’re doing working on my case, question go unanswered, they don’t respond in a timely manor but will say it’s due to staff being on leave. They partially double their quote but slipping it in to an email, without mentioning the quote would be go up and explain their reasoning. You are then tied in for a long period of time as they have 7 weeks to investigate your complaint and no other solicitor is keep to take on a case that’s with Ombusdman. Be warned. Stay away. They see pounds signs and nothing else.

I chose Slater and Gordon’s for my medical claim a couple of years ago, I can honestly say, I don’t regret a thing, Nicole was so helpful, she was thorough in everything she done, she put my mind at rest as I’m a complete worrier, her contact was spot on, any new updates she’d call or email me right away! I have and will carry on recommending this company to anyone who needs them! Super professional and extremely helpful!
Thank you Nicole for everything, you’ve kept me sane and bought my claim to a fantastic outcome where I can now start planning on rebuilding my confidence!

My daughters and myself went through them following a car accident. They still have the money for both my daughter's claims. Never hear back from them. Don't even hear back following a complaint. Wouldn't recommend that anyone goes near this firm. Seem to have a very high turnover of staff (speaks volumes), probably the reason no one gets back to you or takes responsibility for anything.

After 9 months after my accident I am still waiting to be informed if slater and gordon are taking on my case. They don't reply to emails in a timely manner. I find them very unprofessional and wish I had never gone to them for help . I don't feel like they are interested in my case or infact are on my side . I would never recommend this company to anybody ,very frustrating to deal with

My sale and purchase nearly fell through due to incompetence & neglect

This review is for a different branch.

The service was extremely poor. The whole sale and purchase process nearly collapsed due to incompetence and neglect. I was allocated 3 different lawyers and in the end the whole job was given over to a paralegal who admitted they lacked experience. There was a long delay because my paperwork was lost and I had to send it again. I also ended up having to do some of the searches myself through desperation. My very experienced estate agent said he'd never known anything like it. They ignore emails and don't put you through on the phone line. Avoid this company for your sanity's sake.

My case has been sorted after 4 years 6 months on still waiting for my payment from them no-one is contacting me as I ring daily think I'm going to have to put my own solicitor to take them to court the service is DIABOLICAL when I rock up at the office they going to be in for a shock off their lives yet when they needed to extend after 3 years they sent someone to my door

There was a little hiccup at the start of my case, I then had Adil take over and I had smooth sailing from then.
Adil was really good at explaining processes to me and taking time to ensure i understood what he was talking about. He gave me guidance and support and happy with how my claim settled.
