Very poor

I found this firm to be very slow to respond … had to chase them constantly for updates throughout house purchase. I had an appointment booked to sign final documents and when I turned up I was told my solicitor was “in training”. Unprofessional and slow service. Would not recommend at all

Consistently bad service

This firm was recommended to us by our Estate Agent and had quite a simple task of arranging the conveyancing for a property we are selling. From start to finish, they failed to respond to communications; had portal problems where we were unable to even pay their fee and we were passed to various people. Communication within the firm is badly lacking. Eventually as the portal would not work for paying them, they said they would get their Accounts Department to ring us to take the details. They didn't... I finally gave them a 'by date' to contact us and then we would instruct another firm. That date came and went with no call. We instructed another firm recommended to us by a friend and it has provided excellent service. What finally prompted me to write this is that, 2 weeks after 'de-instructing' Taylor Rose, I have just received a phone call from their Accounts Department to take details for their fee. So the communication system remains just as we left it, despite our complaint. I see the 5 star reviews on here but something is seriously wrong at this firm at the moment and I would use with great caution or better, still, go elsewhere.

Sean McCormack and his team were of great support during a very difficult time. He handled my case with great care, compassion and professionalism and we received the desired outcome. I am very pleased with the results and I now have peace of mind and can leave my incident in the past. I would gladly recommend Sean.

From day one of being introduced to Sean he has been extremely professional, sensitive to my personal situation, very knowledgeable about the process, medical industry & explained everything in ‘plain English’ for me.

Sean would always take the time to talk through all the options on the table & allow me time to digest things.

He always responded promptly to my emails & phone calls. And I was constantly aware of my options & next steps.

I would highly recommend Sean to anyone looking for a solicitor in this sector.

Great job! Thanks so much, my family & I will be internally grateful.

Avoid! MW don't come back to you, don't return calls, don't follow up as promised. My experience with this company was to basically get ignored! Shocking service and they take no responsibility at all.

Excellent service

Words cannot begin to express my thanks to Sean for everything he has achieved in my claim, including my barrister, his litigation Executive, and the rest of the team.

I have already relayed my gratitude throughout the process of my claim, but I wanted to express it again now that my claim has been finalised.

Sean is extremely experienced and very thorough so, be prepared for lots of questions. He is efficient and an excellent communicator.

Sean took my case on when no one else would, he saw something in my case that other solicitors missed and He believed in me, when I thought I didn’t stand a chance.

Sean didn’t just look at my claim as a number in a list, but ensured that he gave it the full attention it deserved at ALL times, regardless of his everyday workload. He always made me feel like a valuable client and made time for me, I appreciate that.

He always kept me updated about what was happening every step of the way, by responding to all of my emails, and by being on the end of the phone, whenever I needed advice and support.

His expertise has been first class he takes time to talk to you not ‘at you,’ and was very patient when explaining the intricacies of the claim from the beginning to the end.

He gave me time to consider different options given the facts (without being pushy), when important decisions were necessary.

I just wish there were many more like Sean in the Solicitor world, he has truly restored my faith in Solicitors and the law. So, Sean thank you once again, I am extremely grateful.

It is indeed a great pleasure for me, to highly recommend Sean at Taylor Rose Solicitors; Sean is a great asset to the firm and I shall not hesitate to use him again if need be.

I contacted Taylor Rose for a free will after hearing about this service via one of Martin Lewis's programmes. I found a local branch and was then surprised to hear that I could do this online as my situation was not complicated at all.

From start to finish the service I received was very good, very helpful and very clear. Jessica started this off for me and then unfortunately had to pass my case onto someone else due to illness. The other lady over saw my case and followed through on it for me, with Jessica also concluding the matter for me, thus wrapping it all up.

Both ladies were efficient, helpful and always to hand if I needed anything and very friendly too.

I found this service very helpful indeed and the fact that many solicitors offer this free service once/twice a year is incredible and very welcome indeed. Something which I'm sure many people would agree upon.

I'm very grateful to Jessica Shale and her colleague Daniella Grove @ Taylor Rose for an excellent service and for following through on everything when challenges arose.

Many thanks and best wishes,

Lou Requena

Zafrin and Abby (Hove) were fantastic. Answered calls and email quickly and provided clear information throughout the process. I had initially went with a “budget” option solicitors for the sale of my property who I had to abandon as it was quite clear you get what you pay for. Went on to complete my sale and purchase with Taylor Rose. Highly recommend.

We recently used Taylor Rose Hove for our house purchase. The initial discussions around quotes and process was extremely clear and the team were very helpful and prompt in all responses. Throughout the conveyancing process our solicitor Zafrin was thorough and the assistant Abby was always speedy and clear with coming back on questions. The buying process was slightly more complicated than usual as we had to renew the lease midway through the process but this didn't cause undue delays and we were able to complete in a timely manor. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

Liz Antoniou and her team have been absolutely fantastic. My wife and I are first time buyers and found ourselves caught in a complex sale with many moving parts. Liz kept us consistently updated throughout the process and helped us navigate the complexity, which to us felt very much like she was going above and beyond with her counsel! Would highly recommend Liz and the Taylor Rose team to anyone looking for a professional, personable and reliable conveyancer. Best wishes, Ben and Daisy.
