Did the job

Rather hard to get hold of on the phone, which meant extra work finding answers to queries via other means. On the whole though, the job was done without any major challenges or delays on their part.

Terrible communication.

They had zero interest in our case failing to communicate many times and with frosty attitude if we contacted them. Horrible experiance for a family already undergoing a lot of stress at the time.

Customer Service Needs Improving

From the very start of working with Richard Reeds there appeared to be a lack of customer service. E-mail correspondence was always blunt, lacked detail and just the general approach to communication was not personal to us as the paying customer. It doesn't take a lot to address people properly in communication and sign off an e-mail with thank you (or other alternative), where as all communication seemed to be missing this. Also updates during the sale process were virtually non-existent unless we chased and found it easier and more convenient to get updates from the estate agent rather than Richard Reeds. It didn't help matters that Nicola refused to discuss the sale progress with my husband as his name was not on the deeds of the property we were selling, however they took the instruction to act as solicitor from my husband, had our marriage certificate and paid the funds from the sale into our joint bank account. We chose this solicitor on recommendation from the estate agent as they said our usual solicitor can be hard to deal with and we wanted a quick sale, but this was obviously just to get a referral payment. We will definitely stick to what we know in the future.
