Thanks Amy

I was so nervous going to see a solicitor but Amy made the process so easy. She was calm, understanding and able to explain the pros and cons of what i wanted to do. I have recommended to my friends - she is a diamond.

Saskia was great!

Saskia Taylor kept me informed throughout the process, I didn't have to chase her for anything. I felt supported and looked after the whole and it was all done quicker than I could imagine. We are so happy we hose Peter Lynn to help us with the purchase of our very first home.

Disaster

We (me and wife) were first time buyers and went with PL&P. Trust me, I was a non believer but they even made me a strong believer in because that's the only option I left with.

Our seller want to urgently complete the purchase so do we but PL&P were rock solid. There was no communication at all. If you ever engage them and get a call returned, immediately cut the call and buy a national lottery, rest assured you will be the winner.

Nothing much to say "disaster" it was and the wait continues....

Antichrist(second coming) or my home purchase?? Uhmmm... not sure which gone happen first 😞?😞

First time buyers

My partner and I were first time buyers and went with PL&P through recommendation. However I am disappointed to say our experience was not a good one.
Communication was extremely poor, we had to chase them for everything. Calls were not returned and rarely would we receive a reply to our emails.
Our solicitor did not inform us of the 'Estate rent charge' associated with the property until we had seen it within a report, nothing was highlighted by them nor did they explain before hand that this would infact increase our solicitor fees by nearly double (as a result of them having to do additional work)!!! To top it all off they had given our mortgage providers the incorrect moving date. This eventually got resolved (only days before moving) after us chasing them and informing them of their mistake.
We are very disappointed with the service we have received and would not recommend.

Conveyancing

Used Peter Lynn solicitors recently when I sold my house. Very disappointed with the whole experience, however there was fault on both sides when it came to the sale it was an extremely lengthy process. It was not straight forward but things that cropped up which caused delay should have been addressed long before it became a problem, and was unnecessary. Each Solicitor placing blame on each other. Also until the end we were not kept in the loop until our help was needed. Settlement figures changed several times due to on going delays, my conveyancing solicitor changed mid sale. I would not recommended this complany to anyone, and should have stayed clear when I was informed not to use them. Very stressful disappointing drawn out experience stay away!!

AWFUL

Peter Lynne were put forward by John Francis who sold my dads bungalow for £40,000. I wish I had read these reviews before employing them.. What an Awful and stressful experience! I would never use again or recommend this firm to anyone. In fact stay clear! They gave me a conveyancing quote of £772 but deducted £1323.70 from the final invoice which they didn't even send to me. I had to ask for a breakdown as I could see that they had overcharged me by almonst £600 without telling me. I have emailed and asked who they have inflated the charge, no reply as yet.
My bad experience regarding Peter Lynne regarding their Time wasting, paper shuffling, lack of attention to detail regarding silly schoolboy errors. Posting paperwork back and for, asking me to answer questions which have already previously been answered by me. Asking for paperwork that they have already recieved. Total incompetence and when I start to complain this is what they do. Unprofessional overcharging. Shall be going to Citizens advice, the Legal OMBUDSMAN and Ask the Senior Courts Costs Office to make a ‘detailed assessment’ of the inflated bill.

Very pleased and happy with process

We used Peter Lynn and Partners for the purchase of our new build home in Llanelli. Being first time buyers we were very nervous and had no idea of how the whole process worked. Greg was our solicitor and he was fantastic explaining the different aspects both legally and with the help to buy. He would always reply to our emails even though most of the questions seemed daft. I would recommend them for a future purchase and was very happy with how smoothly the process went.

Incompetent! Complaints will be made

What an Awful and stressful experience! I would never use again or recommend this firm to anyone. I was almost made homeless, 3 weeks AFTER completion because of mistakes made, had my family not bailed me out my house would have potentially been repossessed and I wouldn't have a place to go. At 6 months pregnant it was the last thing I needed, the solicitor also threatened me with police involvement even though I only had one phone call from him less than 24 hours prior! I had no idea what was going on! Passed the case on to a consultancy as they would not communicate with me reasonably.

Excellent service from start to finish, we used PL&Partners when buying our home. Caesar and Rhys were brilliant, providing regular updates and turning things around quickly, answering any questions we had! Would recommend! You hear so many nightmare stories about delays when it comes to choosing the right solicitors, PL&P came recommended and now I can vouch for why! Thank you for a top class conveyancing service!
