Got falsely charged with an obstruction of a drug search. There was no evidence against me other than the statements from the police. I was also fully searched with a negative result and still charged somehow (good luck working that one out). The police in Scotland are in a very sorry state to say the least if they have to "make up" crimes in order to look busy.. I spoke to a number of "top" criminal lawfirms and discussed the possibility of fighting the case before it goes to trial, in order to get the charge "thrown out" without going to trial. I can say that a number of so called "top" lawfirms literally laughed in my face when I suggested to fight it before the trial and claimed that this simply wasn't possible in this country and that I've been watching too many movies. These lawfirms are considered top 5 in Scotland in this field of law yet they advised that this wasn't possible under any circumstances! Thankfully I had Anna MacKay on my side. Anna & Aimee worked tirelessly on my case and left no stone unturned. They followed all the correct channels and explored every avenue in order to deal with my case. Communication was excellent, with an open line of communication throughout the process in order to ease my mind, and advise on any queries that I had at the time.
