The divorce process between my wife and myself started out on relatively amicable terms and we agreed and documented all matters that needed to be resolved between us. The involvement of her new partner and the subsequent appointment of a solicitor significantly changed the dynamic and everything that had been agreed was suddenly revoked. After two years of wrangling I engaged Stowe Family Law out of desperation and the world suddenly got a lot clearer. I got a far better understanding of my position, rights and how various matters could be progressed and resolved. The minute Stowe got involved, the other solicitors quietened down. All outstanding matters were resolved and the divorce completed within 6 months.

I had no idea I would fall apart so badly during this Financial Dispute Resolution. I was assigned Andrew midway through the process as a cost cutting exercise I believe. Many would think the service might be less but it proved to be far more engaged and his approach was faultless. He cleverly and sensitively diverted the "noise" and focussed purely on the relevant information, deflected a huge amount of unnecessary diatribe and superbly navigated me through many meltdowns without ever making me feel like an idiot, which I undoubtedly was. He chose the absolute best Barrister to represent me at the FDR combining his advice with sensitive financial savvy and guided me to the best choices I could make within the constraints of my own finances and I have no doubt that I could not have been given a better service from anyone with a lifetime of additional experience beyond his own. This man deserves every bit of praise I can heap on him. Thank you Andrew!

I am based in London but friend recommended Harriet Reed, at Winson in Leeds, to speak to about my failing marriage. Following that initial discussion, it was over three years before a financial settlement was reached via a private FDR. Harriet was with me every step of the way, in advising me in dealing with an intransigent spouse and on the battles to fight. I always felt Harriet had my back, and to have her present at the FDR, made me feel i was in safe hands. Harriet's judgment was sound in her recommeded counsel both at the FDR and preparing for it. She made it clear from the beging the likely cost of emarking on such a course as well as the potential legal cost of a final hearing. Harriet understood what I was going through and has a great bedside manner. I am delighted to commend Harriet Reed for her dealings with me.

I was dealing with Rabina throughout this long process, which was nearly 3 years. During this time Rabina was professional, friendly and always courteous. Explaining each phase as it arose and guiding me accordingly. Whatever was put in as an obstacle or issue she navigated, explaining in layman terms how she/we were going to address the problem. Although a process that involves this amount of time and level of detail can be worrying, I always felt reassured that my interest/concerns were being well looked after by someone who had a genuine interest in me. There was always an honesty of what the end result could be with no illusions along the way. A very positive result and if ever I needed legal representation again my first "port of call" would be Oakwood and Rabina. TY for your outstanding professionalism and empathy.

I got intouch with Richard Nelson's after needing help with a contract regarding mutually agreed redundancy, but due to the contract not containing the correct information by the time I got the correct version I only had two days left before it had to be signed and returned. I rang and was assured that someone would be able to help me, I was give an appointment for the next day and met Jayne Harrison, she was brilliant! She read through the contents with me pointing out several mistakes, she got straight in touch with my employer and got them amended . I have one last part to complete in January. I am so glad that I chose Richard Nelson's as after much stress they dealt with my situation extremely quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing any legal advice.
