I was half way through a very difficult divorce when I found Forbes Solicitors. I found my previous solicitor to be unsupportive and felt that she wasn’t interested in exploring my situation and was allowing the other party to dictate all the terms. When I first spoke to Karen(Paralegal) about moving my case to Forbes I was immediately put at ease. I then had a meeting with Nicola(solicitor). She was very helpful and knowledgeable and I felt that at last I had someone willing to explore all possibilities.She made suggestions about information that I needed to gather to support my case as I am now a lone carer for my disabled son and would have been put in an impossible situation if as my previous solicitor had said the court would probably decide that all the assets would have to be split equally. I ended up with a good result and will now be able to continue caring for my son without struggling. Throughout the process Karen and Nicola were totally brilliant. Anne the secretary was also great! They were always easy to contact and responded very quickly to my questions. I felt totally supported and safe in their hands and will always be grateful for their support during the most difficult period in my life.
