This past year has been extremely difficult and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without makin Dixon’s. They have given me advice and support during my court proceedings over child arrangements with my ex partner. Everyone who I have spoke with have been extremely helpful, and now because of makin Dixon’s am able to move on with my life.

Hard to contact after they start your case, kept changing me legal team last minute, at court I wasn’t represented fully and when I was saying points to bring up he didn’t do this either. I was lied about over child access case with no evidence and the guy they give me didn’t even no my medical record and kept stuttering. I wasn’t given my meeting being the case and told this was because a client took his own life. If your a man and fighting for access to your child then I recommend you choose carefully. 18months of stress and being ignored to have to go to another firm and file complaint. If your just going for non mol orders or to file paperwork there good at that but they let you down for hearings and nightmare to talk to someone other than receptionist.

I came through the court Nav system to apply for a NMO. They sent me an email asking for my financial documents for a legal aid assessment and I've chased up multiple times via phone or email but had no response. It's been nearly 7 weeks.

From my first to last meeting with this firm I was blown away by their inability to understand their own job, when they mess up they take no accountability and double down on defending themselves rather than their client, they do not do any work on checking backgrounds and as a result if you find these people your only option just defend yourself instead.
Just completely inept and arrogant with it. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!

18 month hearing in court family matter. No communication or call back from solicitor, no updates from solicitor threw all proceedings. Always changing solicitor/barrister everytime I go to court. Just very poor service its like they just don't care. Not sure if it's because I was getting legal aid and my particular solicitor saniya couldn't care less and literally ignored all communication from me, I bet if I was paying privately to this firm I would rexieve all more care and communication from them. Personally I would stay well away from this firm. Utter negligence in my opinion.

I am extremely grateful for the help I received from Aneka Shoukat.
Thanks to her I have now been given the chance to re-build my relationship with my Daughter. I came into these precedings not expecting much and was apprehensive at first.
Aneka never judged me and immediately made me feel at ease from the first conversation I had with her.

From start to finish I felt that Makin Dixon really cared about my case. They did everything they could to keep me updated with what was happening, and were efficient and organised. They 'bent over backwards' to make the whole court journey as painless as possible and really showed I was important to them. Although I did not get the outcome that I wanted Makin Dixon did everything they could against an antiquated court system. Aneka and Jane were amazing!!
