After a serious allegation was made, I instructed Holborn Adams who made the experience the least stressful it could be and the personal touch from the case manager, answering all my questions was phenomenal. They engaged with the police in all contact and made me feel better about the situation and got the results to match. 10/10 would use them again if any issues arise and would recommend to anyone. I had the unfortunate experience of being accused of something that I didn’t do, I had never had an issue with the police before and the whole experience was daunting and sent me to a dark place and I felt lost.

In step Holborn Adams, my first contact was with Fay, she was a very calm reassuring voice and someone who clearly cared about the client. She has been with me throughout the process and she was as pleased as I was with the outcome I could hear the sincerity in her voice. Her availability was constant and that helped me massively particularly in the early days. She fully had my back in all of this and I will forever be grateful.

I then spoke to Adam, who has taken responsibility for the case and the outcome and he is incredible, he really knows his stuff, clearly strives for the best outcome and is a natural leader and winner. When he speaks, it’s with authority and reassurance that you’re in the right hands. His knowledge of the legal system, police, CPS, is second to none. His strategy was perfect and he managed to time this with almost telepathic accuracy about what was next and what we would do.

Geena is a crucial part of the team and one that combines professional excellence with empathy and compassion for the client. I really felt that she was fully invested in my case with me and that makes such a big difference. Her work has been phenomenal and she was integral to the outcome. I will also now take advice from HA about any other issues I have. They are by far the best firm out there and the team I worked with are like my guardian angels! My experience with Holborn Adams was absolutely positive!

I had a false allegation made against me and was arrested. Being from a different country and not having any criminal background, I didn't know what my rights were and was given the option of having a duty solicitor represent me during the interview with the police officer. That was an absolutely horrible experience as the duty solicitor clearly had no interest in helping me and made me see the whole thing as a lost case.

Fortunately, Fay Ashton took my case and showed me a different perspective of what criminal defense should be like and explained the importance of having a team specialised in pre-charge defense. She never judged me and always believed in my innocence, as well as always trying to give me reassurance and positivity, which can be hard when going through something serious like that. My case was dropped today, 3 months after it started, and I'm sure that wouldn't have been possible without Fay's strategies and precise arguments. I can't thank her enough and I'm sure anyone dealing with a similar experience would agree with me.

We have recently got 'not guilty' verdict from our trial which was a great result indeed!! We can not express ourselves good enough to Mr Akram and Mr Kevin (King's counsel) the team was the most amazing team to keep our future life safe. When my husband was reported and under investigation then the case was decided to go for trial at Crown court, our family lost our life and we did not know what to do. As a duty solicitor did not really seem to help with our case, we had to find someone then luckily we spoke with Mr Adrew from Holborn Adams and met Mr Akram. Mr Akram listened to us carefully, understood our situation well, explained the process we had to go through. He is such a great solicitor, he is very capable and confident with what he needs to do to help our case. We were also impressed how much he went into the details to find out the point to defend our case. He introduced Me Kevin who is also the greatest counsel. We were so lucky to meet Mr Akram and Mr Kevin, they advised us not only just for case and paper works, but also cared for us as a person, and gave us so much encouragement not to lose our minds during the difficult period of time. We did not know anything about law which made us more scared but Mr Akram was there with us from the beginning, and Mr Kevin was there to speak for us at the trial. I made a terrible mistake and found myself in serious trouble with the law facing a lengthy jail sentence as I was originally charged with GBH (section 18), thanks to the expertise, and vast knowledge of Akram and his team, I'm pleased and very grateful to say he/they managed to get me a deal for a lessor offence GBH (section 20) for which I pleaded guilty to with the outcome being a suspended sentence and community order. This was a very stressful period for me but Akram defiantly put me at ease with his clear guidance, professionalism and reassurance. Im sure without Akram and his team it would of been a completly different outcome, I cannot commend Akram enough honestly he's an outstanding individual who's one hundred percent capable and competent.
