Sale of property as trustees.

As trustees working on behalf of a gentleman with Aspergers Syndrome in relation to the sale of his house, we took the advice of the estate agents and appointed Brown Turner Ross as our solicitors for the sale. Neither of us had been involved in the sale of a property for many years, and never as trustees or where a property was to be sold via auction as opposed to a “normal” sale. We had a whole host of questions, and went to a meeting with Amy at the Southport office. To our surprise, Amy answered the vast majority of our questions before we even had a chance to ask them, and covered some things we hadn’t even thought of. She was so well prepared and professional, explaining things in layman’s terms. Consequently, we came away from the meeting with any misgivings we may have had about the procedure firmly laid to rest. So, thank you very much Amy. It truly has been a pleasure having you as our legal representative in this process.

0 stars!!

just had a follow up call from housing disrepair helpline to ask about my experience with these people. apparently they said the case was closed in 2020! news to me as i was still getting e mails until may 2023! so they lied to make their stats look good. they messed me around over the 4 years! i dealt with them. ignoring my emails, which i always sent at least 2 or 3 before they emailed back. sometimes i emailed 5 or 6 times before any acknowledgement. i had about 4 different people over as many years take over my case, all of them absolutely usele$$. if housing disrepair send you to these people don't use them as you will regret it!!

TOLATA

Graham took over my TOLATA case as the matter had failed to be progressed by another legal firm. Graham was already handling another case for me so I was comfortable and confident in his ability to get matters moving. Graham is so thorough and leaves no stone unturned. He always had my best interests in mind. His commitment and tenacity was clear to see, and I was always kept up to date with clear and concise communication and advice. Graham takes things personally when his clients are treated unfairly and will not stand for it. I just know that I was and remain in the best hands. I am sorry to say that my loyalty is not necessarily with Brown Turner Ross, but it is with Graham Twist personally. He attended every single hearing with me, he turned around his schedule to make that happen, he even attended a full working day at my property. He wanted to make sure that I was well looked after legally and I just cannot fault this solicitor in anyway. Hopefully I will not need to use his services again once all matters draw to a conclusion, but I feel that he will be the only solicitor that I know I can whole heartedly trust if legal services are required again in my future. His fees are fair and he really doesn’t abuse time, quite the opposite in fact. He completes his work efficiently and precisely to keep costs as low as possible. Graham, I honestly do not know where I would be without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Used BTR for divorce proceedings based on a recommendation terminated the instruction causing me financial loss, Sam Bushell was a very poor communicator, I felt early on she didn't act in my best interest of information guidance. I left to instruct another firm I would recommend due diligence instead of recommendation before instructing.
