This company is a fraud!! They will cheat you of your money and refuse to return it to you.
I have lost my house purchase as they refused to pay the sellers solicitors my full cash payment for the property purchase. They kept nearly £200,000 of mine in their personal accounts and misused my money. knows if they invested my money and made money from it.
After reporting them to the SRA and close to opening a police report, only then have they finally returned my money after 1 month of misuse.
Dara singh and Remersh Kaur, Krishan all work together, convincing you to send them full monies, only then to ignore your calls and emails and make excuses not to complete the house purchase. They are all related internally and are misusing your money.
Ross Coates himself is always too scared to attend any calls.
I have taken steps on legal proceedings against this solicitors.
PLEASE STAY AWAY. YOU WILL BE CHEATED BY THEM!

The staff here are diabolical and cannot even use correct grammar to send emails.
It took a year to sell a flat, even though they had an upfront payment in January 2023 to complete in a week, another way of getting money from you. Six months later it still wasn't completed so I asked for my money back, for then to be told if I did that, then I would have to go to the bottom of the list again. Then when I wanted to complain, I was told if they did that, then they couldn't act for me on my sale. I was to far in to change companies so let them carry on. They yesterday I got a call from my mortgate company after the sale completed in december 2023 (now 8th Feb 24} to say I had missed mortgage payments. When I called up they had forgot. What company forgets they have a spare £74,ooo in their bank accout???!!!

The worst solicitors I've ever used. About at all costs. The missed me off the freehold of a joint freehold flat. The produced a fake email apparently from me, saying I didn't want to be on the freehold. But still charged me £500 extra to deal with the freehold. Absolute robbing solicitors. Went through the complaints procedure to no avail as their so called independent solicitor that deals with complaints actually works for them to cover holidays. Went then to the law society which again were extremely unhelpful. How this firm is still in business is beyond me....

I was trying to help a relation with some queries that were raised and she didnt understand. Having contacted the writer of the email Dara Singh I was appalled by his attitude. When asking him to explain some of the queries he was rude and arrogant. He just kept repeating the words in the email and would not answer the questions put to him. They were asking for additional fees of £3200 + vat for extra work but would not fully explain why. At this point he because rude so I asked to speak to his manager, which he refused. The call was therefore passed back to the purchase who still did not get many suitable answers and was left with the impression that all he was trying to do was extract additional fees. Thus was pointed out to him, which he of course denied. Having stronger recommended Ross Coates to my relative due to the exceptional service I was given when using then this has been a disappointment and embarrassment.

I was totally dissatisfied with the service I received from Team 1 at Ross Coates solicitors. On top of their normal fee I paid an extra £300 for an expedited service to exchange and complete prior to going overseas. No one ever answered the phone on the direct line to Team 1. I only managed to get through to reception after much waiting for the call to be answered. Exchange and completion toll place on the day I was leaving to travel overseas only because I delivered the signed TR1 form to the buyers solicitor by hand otherwise exchange and completion would have taken another week. Then the final delay was that the funds didn’t arrive in my account until 3 days later so I could not hand the keys to the buyer who had to wait until the following Wednesday to gain access to the property. I would not recommend anyone to use these solicitors who were slow and inefficient until they extracted a further payment to expedite a speedier completion.

I’ve bought an house through auction and decided to go with this company due to there competitive quote. I’ve rang around 15 times with no answer and they are not progressing it but have deducted there deposit. As you may know, there is a 28 day limit on auction property’s and I feel like I’m in a situation where I would lose a lot of money.
