Being a single first time buyer I really wasn't sure how this was going to go! Happily I was very well looked after throughout the whole process and despite legal terminology being complicated at times, the team were on hand to explain anything I wasn't sure about.
There was never a point when I felt I wasn't sure what was happening and I had regular updates at key stages to confirm what was happening and what would happen next. Any time monies were transferred I was given written confirmation that it was received.
