I was generally happy with the solicitor but they were hard to reach and they took too long to respond to emails. I wish they wouldn’t take on more clients than they can manage because it’s stressful having to wait for answers like that

This is significantly faster than the UK average for conveyancing timescales, particularly during a period of extremely high demand as many clients, including yourselves, were keen to complete before the end of the SDLT holiday. It was busy time but I always felt that Donna had time to speak to me and returned my calls when I asked for a call back.
The advice I received was straight forward and easy to understand and any queries I raised were dealt with efficiently.

Overall very good. I would give 4.5 stars but no option to do that. I did feel I had to chase but this was also down to waiting for others to get back to you which you can’t control.

We are sorry to hear that you feel the process took longer than expected. While we always strive to progress transactions as efficiently as possible, some delays are unfortunately beyond our control. In this case, much of the delay was due to the buyers’ solicitors taking longer than usual to raise their initial enquiries. We are always looking at ways to improve our service, and take all feedback regarding communication on board.
