Your data protection and client confidentiality questions answered

ReviewSolicitors treats data protection and client confidentiality as seriously as you do.

Unlike many other businesses, solicitors in the UK are bound by additional and more restrictive data protection and client confidentiality requirements.  These are specific issues that other, more general review collection websites aren’t equipped to cater to.

Firms using some of the mainstream sites such as Feefo or Trustpilot are potentially putting themselves at risk of a breach.

Pete Storey CTO, has designed the process so that ReviewSolicitors does not request, require, or store any confidential client data as part of the review process.  We only require client contact details, with the option of some additional information, such as the name of the solicitor involved in the case.

Most importantly, when passing this data to ReviewSolicitors, you do so using our secure website.  You can upload the data, or easily integrate your case management system with our secure API. In order to completely protect the data you supply us with, we immediately encrypt this data. Next, we queue the review requests to be sent to the clients.  Following that, we generate an individual encryption key for each and every client, and this is supplied to them as part of the link in the contact email.

This means that neither ReviewSolicitors, nor anyone else, has access to your client contact data until after the client has confirmed their wish to leave a review.  This ensures your compliance with data protection, client confidentiality, and privacy requirements, and means the client is in control of their data - not a third party review platform.

At ReviewSolicitors we achieve an average 15% - 30% conversion rate on review requests for our member firms. We hold no records for the remaining clients you request us to email.  This ensures that your client list remains confidential, as it should be.

To ensure that you fully meet all your legal requirements you should use ReviewSolicitors - the site that has been built specifically for the UK legal market.

We would be very happy to discuss any other questions you may have about privacy, security, and confidentiality.  Or, to simply join the platform - call us on 0333 577 0206 or email us at info@reviewsolicitors.com.
