New features – Additional Review Collection Methods

Collecting reviews on ReviewSolicitors is to be completely revamped. Feedback from our members over the last 12 months has encouraged changes that will allow you to collect feedback from clients in a way that suits your law firm.

In just over 2 weeks’ time, you will see additional options in the ‘Get More Reviews’ section of your solicitor dashboard. These additional options are an extension of our existing 3 methods of review collection and provide a much greater level of transparency and improved tracking of review requests.

Each firm will now have 7 different ways in which to ask clients to leave reviews. These are explained below:

  1.      Generate a single client link
  2.      Generate a multi-purpose link
  3.      Upload paper reviews
  4.      Send a single client request (existing and new features added)
  5.      Upload a CSV file to send multiple requests (existing and new features added)
  6.      Integrate your case management system (existing and new features added)
  7.      Pre-matter completion client feedback

  1. Generate a single client link

If you would personally like to ask clients to provide a review, rather than have ReviewSolicitors email the client, you can do so here. Simply provide the client’s details and you will generate a personalised and trackable link that you can email directly to them.

By clicking on this link, the client will be taken through to the ReviewSolicitors questionnaire where they can leave their feedback. You can also include a personalised message that is visible only to that client. Using this method the client is not required to create an account before posting their review.

  1. Generate a multi-purpose link

If you would like one simple link that multiple clients can use to leave you a review then this is your perfect option. Links are generated for each registered solicitor with an account, and for each branch location.

Simply copy the link and add this as a link to direct client emails, closing documents or personal correspondence you have with the client. Please note that anybody who has access to this link can leave a review so it is important to only share this link with your own clients directly. It is not permitted to add this link to any public page of a website as this will encourage spam reviews.

Using this method the client will not have to create an account and can simply leave their review.

  1. Upload paper reviews

If a client does not wish to be contacted via email, this method allows you to send a paper copy of the ReviewSolicitors questionnaire to them and manually upload it onto the system. The paper version is personalised and displays your branding.

This method does not produce as high a response rate as the other (online) methods of review collection, but can be a useful tool to use if your client base is not accustomed to, or comfortable with, providing feedback via the internet. It is also a good stepping stone if your practice has historically collected feedback offline and you are looking to modernise your processes.

  1. Send a single client request (existing and new features added)

One of the quickest and easiest ways to ask clients for feedback at the end of their case. Simply add in the details of a single client and you can instantly send an email from ReviewSolicitors asking the client if they would like to leave a review.

New features added:

  •        Add a personal message
  •        Track the status of each request (delivered, opened, review left, etc.)
  •        Add a personal reference to assist in tracking
  •        Maximise response rates
  •        Choose the amount of times you ask for feedback (maximum: 3)
  •        Ability to sending a copy of the request to yourself
  1. Upload a CSV file to send multiple requests (existing and new features added)

If you have multiple clients that you would like to send review requests to, you can add their details to a CSV file and upload them simultaneously. This is a fast way to send out multiple review requests. You can send up to 5000 review requests at once. This method works in exactly the same way as the single client request.

New features added:

  •        Add a personal message
  •        Track the status of each request (delivered, opened, review left etc)
  •        Add a personal reference to assist in tracking
  •        Automatically maximise response rates
  1. Integrate your case management system (existing and new features added)

By far the most popular and hassle-free method of review collection. Simply tell us which case management system you use, and your account manager’s details, and we will arrange the integration. Upon integration, every client that passes through your firm will receive an email requesting they leave a review. No admin is required; the reviews will roll in automatically.

New features added:

  •    Multiple triggers now permitted. Send out multiple review requests as you see fit, e.g. one pre- and one post-important court date. This is suited for transactions with clients where your service and the client’s opinion of your firm come second to the outcome at court. This gives you the opportunity to seek a positive review from clients even if they lose their case.
  1. Pre-matter completion client feedback

Would you like to see how clients are getting on before the conclusion of their case? This method allows you send an email to your client giving them the option to indicate if there are any problems to date. This ‘quick response’ tool can helps you to identify and solve potential issues before they occur.

Tracking and transparency

Several members have expressed an interest of being able to track the review requests they send to their clients. We have been working hard to change how our system works and we are excited to announce that the majority of the aforementioned review collection methods will now come with ‘review tracking’ as standard for all of our Premium members.

This tracking will feature on the ‘Get More Reviews’ page and will show the status of review requests sent to clients.

Your ReviewSolcitors account manager is on hand to help talk you through any of these changes and will be happy to explain things in more detail, if desired. Please see below a summary table of the 7 new and improved ways to collect reviews with ReviewSolicitors.

These new features are a great enhancement to the ReviewSolicitors platform. These changes have been influenced by our member firms who help shape the path of ReviewSolicitors, ensuring we continue to evolve and lead the way in client feedback collection within the legal market.

Our new features will be live during the week commencing 15****th April 2019.
