Caseworker

I am a Family and Child Care Caseworker in the Birmingham office, and work together with, and under the supervision, of Solicitor Henna Sajid, alongside a team of Solicitors and Caseworkers. I joined Duncan Lewis Solicitors in September 2022 after completing my undergraduate Law degree at the University of Birmingham, with First Class Honours. Since joining Duncan Lewis Solicitors I have gained experience in dealing with vulnerable clients, and have worked on cases involving allegations of sexual abuse and non-accidental injuries. I pride myself on being able to support and build a positive rapport with clients and counsel alike. My role within the team primarily involves assisting and supporting Solicitor, Henna Sajid, with the progression of cases, advising of clients, preparing of legal documents, as well as both client and third-party correspondence on a wide range of Child Care matters. I mainly deal with public and private law proceedings, which consists of, but is not limited to, care proceedings (Local Authority involvement), private law proceedings (applications for contact and residence), and emergency injunctions.
