I am a director in the child care department at Duncan Lewis based in the Croydon office. I represent parents, children and other family members in court proceedings including applications for various orders including; care orders, special guardianship orders, child arrangement orders, specific issue orders and prohibited steps orders. I represent children directly or through their children's guardian. Outside of court proceedings I regularly advise clients on a number of family and childcare issues and have a particular speciality assisting parents where the local authority is involved and is considering issuing care proceedings. I represent parents in such proceedings, covering various issues such as sexual abuse and physical abuse, non-accidental injuries, neglect, substance abuse and mental health difficulties and have represented client's in court proceedings through the official solicitor.
