Caseworker

I am Caseworker in the Immigration department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, based in the firm's City of London office. I work under the supervision of Solicitor Halima Begum and Director Gemma Lynch. I am accredited as a Senior Caseworker under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme. This means that I can assist clients in immigration detention as well as unaccompanied asylum seeking children. I am currently assisting one of the asylum seekers challenging the Rwanda policy introduced by the Secretary of State for the Home Department. I am also assisting a client who is part of the group litigation challenging the unlawful detention of individuals at Manston House. I have particular experience in dealing with asylum claims and trafficking matters and in working with highly vulnerable clients.
