I am a solicitor and supervisor in the Housing and Property Litigation department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I act for landlords and tenants in a variety of litigation matters including evictions, succession to tenancies, housing conditions, and homelessness, on a private, CFA, or Legal Aid basis. I regularly appear in court as a Duty Solicitor representing tenants facing eviction in the possession lists at Willesden County Court and, on occasion, at Central London. I am committed to delivering justice for clients, landlord or tenant, and to advising on law and procedure carefully and dispassionately. I assist both publicly funded (legal aid) and privately funded clients. I am experienced at assisting clients obtain legal aid funding (where they are eligible) and frequently advise privately funded clients across both affordable fixed fee and hourly rate packages. I have previously acted as a pro bono advocate for the Free Representation Unit assisting vulnerable clients, and I regularly contribute to the Duncan Lewis blog and write for my own legal blog at The Bacon Legal.
