If you want to save your hard earned money, don't think of appointimg them at all. Also don't forget to check their history on Google and case laws on the owner.

Patrick comes across as a very pleasant person and very thorough. But when it comes to keeping you informed about how much you are spending with him he's totally unprofessional.

If you make the mistake I did and engage him as your solicitor be prepared for unexpected huge fees that he never justifies with a breakdown. Be prepared for him to go silent on you, not replying to your phone calls or emails when you challenge his extortionate fees and be prepared to go to the Solicitor's Regulatory Authority and the Legal Ombudsman.

Finally AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I have been charged excessively by Patrick Orr despite he didn’t work at all on my case and just sent me two letters without calling me. My initial contact was with a junior lawyer. Patrick hadn’t sent me any quote and suddenly sent me an invoice to charge me a lot for the two letters communication he sent me, which were really not useful for this case as if he didn’t even seem to know my case. Still I paid because they threatened me to increase it further.
I then changed to a much more professional lawyer and it went very well.
