Lynsey Millar Managing Director of Lanarkshire Law Practice and CEO of Nicolson O'Brien Solicitors, Lynsey is based in our Bellshill office. She graduated with honours from Strathclyde University in 2002 and obtained a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Glasgow Graduate School of Law in 2003. She is also a Notary Public. Lynsey joined the firm in March 2014 and has developed our conveyancing practice which now grows from strength to strength. She has been appointed as the Court’s Independent Representative to carry out the conveyancing in a number of family disputes. Lynsey balances the thriving conveyancing practice with a healthy agency caseload which means she is at Hamilton Sheriff Court on a daily basis. Her experience extends to covering all civil hearings from heritable cases, sequestrations, options hearings, pre proof hearings, case management hearings, opposed motions, child welfare hearings, small claims and summary cause, taxations, assessments, guardianship hearings and debtor court hearings. Lynsey has built excellent relationships with the Sheriffs at Hamilton, court staff and colleagues. She is the former Secretary to the Society of Solicitors of Hamilton District. Lynsey is Airdrie born and now lives in Coatbridge with her husband and two daughters.
