I am a Solicitor in the Child Care department at Duncan Lewis. I work with Director Laila Bhunnoo and a team of Solicitors and Caseworkers. I specialise in both public and private children law matters and primarily represent parents in complex Child Care cases involving physical and/or emotional abuse, neglect and non-accidental injury. I have particular expertise in advising and representing vulnerable clients, including those with mental health issues, learning difficulties and disabilities, alcohol and/or drug addictions and victims of domestic violence. I also represent clients who reside overseas. I am committed to helping the most vulnerable members of society. I volunteer for a charity that runs a Family Law Information Clinic, which offers information on legal issues such as: social services’ involvement, care proceedings, child contact and custody arrangements, special guardianship and domestic violence. The charity also provides a food delivery service every month for families in need.
