At Clayden Law, Hannah drafts, negotiates and advises on a wide range of technology-related commercial agreements, specialising in SaaS agreements. Hannah also specialises in providing advice on UK and EU data protection and e-privacy law compliance in connection with the provision and use of SaaS and other digital products and platforms, drafting suitable contractual provisions and public-facing documents such as privacy and cookie notices. Before joining Clayden Law, Hannah worked at the University of Oxford as an in-house commercial and intellectual property solicitor for 3 years. In this role Hannah had substantial experience of drafting and negotiating supply of service contracts (in particular SaaS, PaaS and IaaS services) and research and intellectual property-related agreements and advised on a diverse range of matters with an emphasis on data protection, intellectual property and contract-related queries. Hannah graduated from University of Nottingham and obtained her Graduate Diploma in Law from Oxford Brookes University and her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice. She trained and qualified as a solicitor at international law firm Osborne Clarke. Outside of work, Hannah spends much of her time enabling her children’s various sporting and musical activities and working on a voluntary basis for a local environmentally-focussed community group, and enjoys running, cycling and playing music.
