Ellie is a Trainee Solicitor at Mooneerams Solicitors. She joined the firm in September 2024. Ellie was born and has always lived in Efail Isaf, near Pontypridd. She attended Bryncelynnog Comprehensive School in Beddau. After achieving excellent results in her GCSEs and A Levels, Ellie went to Cardiff University in 2021 to study Law. She completed her studies in 2024, graduating with an upper second-class honours degree in Law (LLB Hons). During her time at university, Ellie secured work placements with four well-respected firms of solicitors in South Wales, including Mooneerams. Not content with doing that, she also undertook two mini pupillages at a Cardiff-based set of barristers ’ chambers. Mooneerams were quick to spot Ellie’s excellent potential during her work experience with the firm and wasted no time in offering her a paralegal role when it came to an end. Ellie slotted into her role seamlessly and quickly became a valued and popular member of the Mooneerams team, assisting the solicitors in the Public Liability and Employers Liability teams. More recently, Ellie has joined Beth Davies in providing assistance to Director, Angus Fergusson, who handles serious and complex injury cases. Among other duties, she liaises with clients, courts, medico-legal experts, and other professionals, while also conducting legal research, reviewing records, and drafting court documents. Ellie is studying for her Legal Practice Course (LPC) alongside her role at Mooneerams. In doing so, Ellie is following in the footsteps of many of her colleagues by taking advantage of the opportunities provided by Mooneerams to learn alongside carrying out her work duties. Ellie’s ultimate goal is to become a qualified solicitor. Outside work, Ellie enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys going on nice holidays and going for walks on the beach.
