Anthony qualified in 2004 and has been a Partner in firm since 2010. Anthony is STEP accredited (Society for Trust & Estate Practitioners), a worldwide recognised professional body admitting only the most experienced practitioners in the field of trusts and estates, and looks after families and individuals in all the area of wills, estate planning and the administration of estates. Known for giving straightforward and practical advice to suit the clients’ circumstances and needs and in a way they understand, Anthony considers the most important aspect of his area is gaining the confidence of his clients. He enjoys interacting with people and helping them and their families achieve their goal in the most straightforward way possible. Anthony’s aim is for clients to consider him and Thackray Williams as their ‘go to’ law firm. With a focus on giving the best advice, with a positive attitude, he will always try to be proactive and responsive so clients consider themselves his top priority. Anthony undertook a history degree before completing the Legal Practice Course. He trained at a small City firm specialising in private client work and following this, moved to a regional firm to gain more client experience in his chosen area. This also gave Anthony the opportunity to involve himself in marketing and business development within the department as well as wider opportunities in the business itself.
