He is well-versed in all aspects of insolvency, including administration, liquidation, bankruptcy, and insolvency litigation. After qualifying as a barrister in 1993, David began his legal career at Hammond Suddards, handling litigation matters for a diverse client base. In 1998, he joined Read Hind Stewart, where he honed his expertise in insolvency law. In 2001, David co-founded the boutique insolvency and litigation firm Carrick Read Insolvency in Leeds, where he spent 16 years before becoming a partner at LCF Law in 2017. Outside of work, David enjoys golf, fishing, playing the guitar, and supporting Leeds United.
