Jonathan has been a tetraplegic and a wheelchair user for over 30 years following his injury in 1988 when aged 14, he dived into the shallow end of a swimming pool. His head struck the bottom of the pool, breaking his neck at C5/6 and instantly rendering him paralysed and a wheelchair user. Jonathan was treated and rehabilitated at the Southport Spinal Injuries Centre. Because of his background, Jonathan has a close interest in spinal cord injury cases and is a strong advocate for those living with a disability. Identifying rehabilitation is key for Jonathan to improve quality of life and so the claimant becomes as functionally independent as possible. Feedback from previous clients has praised the support Jonathan has provided throughout the litigation, his approachable nature and his personal knowledge and understanding of catastrophic injury.
