Poor knowledge , unapproachable by phone , little or no response by email. Many errors made on paper - legal documents,could not and would not explain the Deeds to me , until it was too late , hence left with legal issues and only to discover through a third party today that they did not notify The Land Registry , so although I have legally purchased my home . i do not own it on paper.

I agree with all the negative reviews , as this has been my firsthand experience of this firm, no politeness, very little response to emails or phone calls. Inexperienced personnel - Helen Sadler , Connor McGrath and very little assistance from Steve Davies , too little too late.I have ended up with legal problem due to the lack of conveyancing expertise. I understand that they have now been closed down by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Delays for no reason as there was no chain, no response to some emails, awful service from start to finish and due to the delays my mortgage offer was pulled. Avoid this company

It's nearly 6 months that I am waiting for a refund of my £150 and still no response from them.
They asked for my bank details to refund my £150 as they were not able to finish the buying process and they asked to refund my money.
I sent you A formal complaint by email on 4th January 2023.
They did not acknowledge my complaint within seven working days of receipt and I have not received any response yet.

Dealing with Davies and McGrath Law was painfully slow. What should have taken days, took weeks and months. They don't answer the phone or reply to emails. They say one thing and do another. For example from when they finally said they were ready to exchange, it took weeks to get them to pick up the phone and actually exchange. Anne and Jackie had absolutely no sense of urgency or desire to meet their own deadlines and commitments. They seemed totally oblivious to the fact that people had to make plans for the move. They even advised the buyer exchange had occurred when it hadn't. Absolutely appalling service, AVOID AVOID AVOID

What sums up the service is probably the fact I couldn’t get through to anyone so I represented myself after chasing for 4 months for a transfer of deeds to then receive an email 3 months after completion assigning me a new case worker, I am glad I wasn’t still sat waiting anyway!!

We truly felt that you made what could be a stressful, time consuming and technically challenging process a breeze. Your customer centric way of conducting your business meant we felt complete trust and really didn’t have to worry about any of the process. The speed at which the work was carried out and the quality of the work has been amazing. We wouldn’t hesitate to use your services again in future and would recommend you to any friends and family looking to move.

The matter took a little too long to be allocated to a case handler and the communication during this period was poor but once the case was allocated Mohammad, who dealt with our matter, was efficient, communicative and concluded things very quickly for us which we are delighted with.
